The New Gallery, est. 1975, provides opportunities and venues for artists that foster social and political creative practices, while engaging and educating their audiences through contemporary art.

Nov 10-Dec 23 Puddle Popper: Ancient Follicle Seeks Green Wish, collaboratively installed mixed media sculptures from artists Sarah Davidson, Juli Majer, Sonja Ratkay, Melanie Thibodeau. These pieces explore the "world building" specifically found in science fiction.

Jan 12-Feb 10 Aislinn Thomas: Dup-boug-a-dad, an installation exploring ways to be in the world, and our relationship with our own bodies. This is addressed through a video documentary as well as a vibrotactile platform used to assist the hearing impaired.

To Nov 25 Tamara Huxtable: Come Clean, a series cloth napkins cross-stitched with racist statements the artist has documented from people in her life. The artist asks viewers to recognize that politicization begins at home.
